DOH has posted several critical revisions to the Care Management Administrative Services (CMAS) contracts.

MLTC Policy 13.03(A): Includes the definition of Community Based Long Term Care (CBLTC) Services, applicability to Program of All Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) and Medicaid Advantage Plus (MAP).

LeadingAge New York has updated its chart summarizing the state’s plans for transitioning the long term care population into Medicaid managed care plans and the FIDA demonstration. The Oct. 1 edition of the chart reflects the recent approval for mandatory managed care enrollment in Orange and Rockland Counties and the planned Dec. 1 date for mandatory enrollment in upstate urban counties. 

The DOH Nursing Home Transition Workgroup met to review subcommittee recommendations on issues such as nursing home network requirements, Medicaid eligibility determinations and payments to nursing homes and managed care plans.

This policy clarifies MLTC Policy 13.04 - Managed Long Term Care (MLTC) plans are required to pay personal care providers/agencies servicing MLTC members the posted rate by HRA or LDSS through March 1, 2014.
