DOH Announces New Office of Health Care Delivery

(Dec. 23, 2024) The Department of Health (DOH) has announced a new Office of Health Care Delivery (OHCD) to be led by Dr. Doug Fish. The new OHCD will include the Office of Aging and Long-Term Care, led by Val Deetz; the Office of Primary Care and Health Systems Management, led by Jennifer Treacy; the Office of Health Facilities Management (which oversees the State Veterans Homes), led by Ryan Ashe; and the Office for Provider Medical Management, led by Dr. John Morley. With the creation of OHCD, the Department’s staff and programmatic functions will be organized under the following principal offices: OHCD, the Office of Health Insurance Programs, NY State of Health, the Office of Public Health, and the Office of Health Equity and Human Rights.
