The presentation will discuss:

• How AI’s ability to analyze vast databases will result in faster, more accurate diagnosis.
• The use of AI to create bespoke care plans for residents that will consider, among other factors, a resident’s genetics, medical history, personal preferences, specific health care needs, and environmental factors, thereby ensuring that every resident receives care specifically targeted for their individual needs.
• How AI can be utilized to streamline administrative processes in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) setting, including, but not limited to, scheduling, resource allocation, and medication management.
• How remote monitoring with AI will allow a SNF to monitor a resident’s health and physical state in real time, resulting in early detection of changes in a resident’s health, as well as monitoring and preventing falls.
• Using AI to alleviate feelings of loneliness and boredom in residents by providing companionship and support.
• The legal and ethical implications of implementing AI in a SNF setting, including compliance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
