DSRIP Weekly Update-Oct. 27, 2015
The big Delivery System Reform Incentive Payment (DSRIP) news this week is that the networks are currently open for new providers to join Performing Provider Systems (PPSs). Members that have been interested in participating in DSRIP but not yet included in a PPS are encouraged to reach out to the PPS lead(s) in their region now to take advantage of this opportunity.
Another Chance to Join a PPS
PPS performance networks have been re-opened, and will remain open until 4:00 p.m. on Nov. 20. While new providers can be added during this time, PPSs cannot delete or modify information for providers already in their network. A PPS may only be able to remove providers during mid-point assessment. DOH will allow certain modifications to information about providers already in network at a later date.
Speed and Scale Changes
The DSRIP categorization logic has been revised so that provider categories are rationalized, and where possible, aligned with the Medicaid Managed Care Operating Reports (MMCORs). DOH conducted a webinar regarding the change and the subsequent revised Speed and Scale commitments.
The Mix Discussions
Best practices regarding telemedicine and the sharing of protected health information are being shared on the Medicaid Redesign Team Information Exchange (the MIX) this week.
