DSRIP Weekly Update-Feb. 9, 2015
After the lull of the holidays, those engaged with the Delivery System Reform Incentive Payment (DSRIP) program know that things are back in full swing. There are some key dates coming up this week and next, and the Project Approval and Oversight Panel (PAOP) will meet next week. Meanwhile, PPSs need to start thinking about implementation.
Important Information Regarding Public Comment
As a reminder, anyone can provide public comment on PPS Project Plan Applications. Comments can be submitted by Sun., Feb. 15 at 3 p.m. to DSRIPApp@health.ny.gov. Have you reviewed the PPS application for your region? It can be accessed here.
Capital Restructuring Financing Program (CRFP) Applications Due Fri., Feb. 20
Also as a reminder, the applications for the CRFP are due Fri., Feb. 20. Click here for the application and related documents. All not-for-profit providers must qualify through the Grants Gateway. Those that are applying new in the Grants Gateway should alert the State by emailing CRFP@health.ny.gov to have the application fast-tracked. Click here for the most recent information on the CRFP.
PPS Application Scoring Released
In preparation for next week’s DSRIP PAOP meetings, DOH provided the Independent Assessor PPS Project Scores (without bonus points for project 2.d.i) for each project. Click here to view the scoring, which incorporates some corrections made after the initial posting. The PAOP will meet over several days next week to review the objective scoring sections submitted by the independent assessor. DSRIP Implementation Plan Template
With the applications submitted and being scored, PPSs have now turned their attention to implementation. DOH provided a “near-final draft” of the DSRIP implementation plan template, which will be used by PPSs to submit their implementation plans by Wed., April 1. PPSs can submit additional comments on the template until Wed. Feb. 11 to their DSRIP Support Team contact. A final template will be made available on Tues. Feb, 17. Click here to view the template.
More information is forthcoming regarding how the Independent Assessor will assess PPSs implementation plans and quarterly reports, and how associated Achievement Values will be calculated. Additionally, an implementation plan prototype will be released shortly to provide PPSs more guidance.
