Safety Net Appeal Process

The second and final DSRIP safety net appeal process opened Tues., Aug. 12 and applications are due by 5 p.m., Wed., Aug 27 - late appeals will not be accepted. This is for all Medicaid providers including physicians and pharmacies. The Department of Health (DOH) issued the following responses to questions regarding the appeal process:

• The Vital Access Provider Exception appeal process will begin after this appeal process is finalized. This is expected for late summer 2014 for certain eligible providers. View the definition of Vital Access Provider Exception to see if you may qualify in the future, in the case you do not meet the definition through the first two appeal processes.
   
• The OMH safety net list has been updated and recently posted. If you are an OMH provider, please refer to this list as changes have been recently made.

Design Grant Awards
