The Department of Health posted a new policy on Wed., Dec. 18 in response to questions raised by Managed Long Term Care (MLTC) Plans concerning the use and implementation of the Uniform Assessment System for New York (UAS-NY).

The state awards $46 million in Vital Access Provider (VAP) funding and holds webinar providing guidance for recipients. 

An updated personal care contracting policy on rates that Managed Long Term Care Plans (MLTCPs) must pay personal care providers serving MLTCP members, including those in Albany, Onondaga, Monroe and Erie counties.  Effective until March 1, 2014.

The Department of Health has proposed changes in the $10 billion Medicaid waiver amendment submitted to CMS last year. Comments are due by Wed., Jan. 15.

DOH has scheduled a webinar for Wednesday, Dec. 18, at 9 a.m. to provide an update to stakeholders on the MRT Waiver Amendment. Revised waiver materials that were submitted to CMS are now posted on the MRT website.
