LeadingAge National Releases New Facility Assessment Resources for Nursing Homes
(June 11, 2024) LeadingAge National has released new Facility Assessment resources based on the updated requirements in the federal nursing home minimum staffing standards rule. These resources are available on LeadingAge National's Requirements of Participation Tools and Resources page under the “Facility Assessment” section and are an addendum to the previously released Facility Assessment resources from the original 2017 implementation and the October 2022 updates to interpretive guidance. The new resources, grouped under “Facility Assessment Addendum – August 2024,” supplement the personnel resources in the October 2022 Facility Assessment Toolkit and are the first of two phases of resources LeadingAge National is releasing ahead of the Aug. 8th compliance date.
