NYS Assembly to Hold Rural Health Care Hearing
The New York State Assembly Health Committee has announced that it will hold a public hearing on the challenges of delivering and accessing health care in rural communities. The hearing will be held on May 31st in the Legislative Office Building in Albany, beginning at 10 a.m. Among the concerns highlighted in the hearing announcement are transportation, workforce recruitment and retention, and rate adequacy. This hearing is an opportunity for health care stakeholders in rural communities to share with legislators their concerns about the complex issues they face.
