We Need You Now!

With an especially challenging State Budget process looming, LeadingAge NY is asking members to step up now as we prepare for evidence-based advocacy. We request that nursing home members complete a survey on key financial issues that will help ensure that we have the most current data to help policymakers understand the dire financial realities providers are facing. The survey is a joint effort between LeadingAge NY and the Greater NY Hospital Association (GNYHA) and collects information that is critical in educating lawmakers on the historical and projected financial and operational challenges. Downstate members who have already responded to the request need not do so again. Those who have not yet completed the survey are asked to do so at their earliest opportunity, but no later than Thanksgiving week. We are especially grateful to those members who completed the survey within hours of the initial request and hope that all members are willing to dedicate some time, despite busy schedules, to participate in this important effort.
