OMIG Issues FAQs on Compliance Program Requirements

The Office of the Medicaid Inspector General (OMIG) has issued Compliance Program Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) to supplement its Compliance Program Guidance developed in response to new regulations that took effect in March 2023. The FAQs cover issues such as compliance work plans, obligations related to contractors, OMIG Compliance Program reviews, compliance officers' quarterly reports to the governing body, and applicability of disciplinary standards to directors.
