Nursing Home Quality Pool

The Department of Health (DOH) is hosting two 90-minute webinars on the new Nursing Home Quality Pool.  DOH notes that they have a limited number of connections for this webinar and are asking that providers register early and limit their registrations to one connection per facility.

The two webinars are the same, but are broken down by Metropolitan Area Regional Office (MARO) facilities and non-MARO facilities.  You should register for one of these webinars based upon whether or not your facility is surveyed by MARO or a non-MARO regional office.  There is no need to register for both.

To register for the MARO session on Wednesday, June 12, 2013 from 2 - 3:30 p.m., please go to: https://uasny.webex.com/uasny/onstage/g.php?t=a&d=665909100 and follow the online instructions.

Within one hour of registration, an automatic confirmation email will be generated and sent from messenger@webex.com.  If you do not receive this email, check your spam or junk mail folder or contact your IT unit.

Please be sure to have speakers or a headset to listen to the presentation since there is no call in number for this event.

DOH also advises that the following types of facilities, which are excluded from the Quality Pool and will not be eligible for payment, are invited to join the webinar for informational purposes at their option: 1.) Non-Medicaid facilities; 2.) Specialty facilities; 3.) Continuing Care Retirement Communities; and 4.) Transitional Care Units.
