Nursing Home Medicaid Reimbursement Update

With the State’s fiscal year halfway through, the Department of Health (DOH) provided LeadingAge New York and other associations a number of updates on Medicaid reimbursement related issues and initiatives last week.  Topics included the Universal Settlement, new process for correcting errors in the capital component calculation of the Medicaid rate, the newly announced Advanced Training Initiative and others.
