Nursing Home Cost Report Due July 3rd

As inconvenient as the date may be, the Department of Health (DOH) continues to remind nursing home providers that they will not offer extensions to the July 3, 2017 due date for the 2016 Medicaid Cost Report. Please note that DOH posted an updated version of the Cost Report on the Health Commerce System (HCS) last week to update capital schedules, which are critical in calculating the capital component of the rate. Members should make sure that they have downloaded the correction. With the tight timeframe this year, it is especially important that homes ensure that those who will certify the report have the required HCS account permissions.
