The April nursing home cash receipts assessment report due date is postponed to June 16. This is the same date as the May report is due.  Please note that this only impacts nursing homes, not other providers. The email message the Department of Health (DOH) sent regarding the delay is copied below. DOH also stresses that the report cannot be submitted electronically earlier than June 1.

Postponement of Nursing Homes Health Facility Cash Assessment Report

Due to continuing efforts to seek alternative cost containment  methods related to the 2% Across the Board Reduction which was implemented effective April 1, 2011, the Health Facility Cash Assessment Program (HFCAP) April 2014 report due date for nursing homes will be postponed until June 16, 2014, the same due date for the May  HFCAP report.

Consequently, at this time, the April report cannot be electronically submitted any earlier than June 1st on the http://www.hcrapools.org/ website.

Please note, that as a result of this postponement, both the April 2014 and the May 2014 nursing home HFCAP reports and payments will now be due on the same day, June 16, 2014.
