Nursing Home Capital Review Attestations Due by May 13th

We remind nursing home members that the due date to submit capital review attestations is May 13, 2022. The Department of Health (DOH) requests that homes review their preview draft capital component for 2022 posted on the Health Commerce System (HCS) and submit an attestation indicating whether the facility agrees with the calculation or whether it is requesting a correction. More information with links to the Dear Administrator Letter (DAL) and attestation form is available here. If your organization is requesting a correction that does not fit into one of the categories listed in the DOH materials, please contact us or email nfrates@health.ny.gov, which is also the email address to which to submit the attestations.

Please note that DOH has indicated that if a capital correction involves a shared savings request, the "2022 Capital Preview Rate Attestation Request" form should be filled out with the mortgage line marked as “yes.”
