No Nursing Home Medicaid Rates Yet

According to DOH workplans, nursing home providers should see a number of updated Medicaid rate sheets shortly. Issuance is slightly behind the intended schedule but DOH expects the rates to receive approval from the Division of the Budget (DOB) soon. Upon approval, 1/1/13 and 4/1/13 rate sheets updated to reflect the July 2012 Case Mix Index (CMI) will be posted on the Health Commerce System (HCS) and sent to eMedNY for payment. Initial 1/1/14 rate sheets reflecting capital component corrections will be posted but payment of 1/1/14 rates is not scheduled until March by which time the rates should be updated to reflect a January 2013 CMI.
