Medicaid Rate Sheets with Updated CMI Posted

The Department of Health (DOH) has posted updated 1/1/15 rate sheets on the Health Commerce System (HCS).  These rates are updated to reflect the July 2014 Case Mix Index (CMI) which is constrainted to a 5 percent change from the CMI reported in January 2014.  

Homes awaiting a correction to the five percent CMI growth constraint reflected in their 7/1/14 rates should see corrected 7/1/14 rate sheets as well.  We are seeking to confirm that payments related to these updates will be in Medicaid payment cycle 1983 as indicated by DOH for all homes and will advise members when confirmed.  The 2013 Cash Receipts Assessment reconciliation calculation sheets were not posted as of early this week, although associated payment adjustments should be reflected in Medicaid checks being released Wednesday, Aug 26.
