Is Your Nursing Home Medicaid Rate Slightly Off?

A few nursing home members have noted that their April 2022 rate has been retroactively reconciled to a slightly different amount. The Department of Health (DOH) indicates that the way that various adjustments were processed in the rate resulted in a slight discrepancy for some nursing homes, meaning that they may see a small mystery adjustment and receive a rate that is several cents different than their most recently published rate. It is unclear how many providers are impacted. If your facility is in this category, we ask that you let us know and that you contact us if you note any other discrepancies or have questions.
