Census Rosters Due Oct. 26th
LeadingAge NY reminds member nursing homes that the due date for census roster submissions is Oct. 26th. After a rough beginning, the system seems to be working fairly well, although a number of members report encountering matching problems. Homes that successfully uploaded their April 25th and July 25th census rosters should be sure to complete the certification by Oct. 31st. Members experiencing matching issues should notify Department of Health (DOH) staff via primail@health.ny.gov. Please be sure to send any messages containing resident information via secure transfer.
Providers who do reach out to DOH for assistance may not receive a response for several days due to the high number of requests, causing anxiety as the deadline approaches. As in prior submissions, we anticipate that DOH will work with providers who are experiencing matching issues through no fault of their own to resolve them even if the process extends beyond the 26th.
