Advanced Training Initiative Applications Due Friday

We urge any nursing home member eligible for Advanced Training Initiative (ATI) funding to review the ATI materials and submit the application to the Department of Health (DOH) by Fri., Oct. 30th.  DOH prequalified homes based on 2014 direct care staff retention rates and notified administrators of eligible homes by e-mail earlier this month.  LeadingAge New York is one of the designated training partners and sent out information on partnering opportunities to eligible homes last week. Please contact us if you have questions on the training programs listed in the application that we offer. 

We have received questions from members seeking further detail on allowable expenditures of these funds, the manner and timing of payments and timeframes for expenditure of the funding.  We have forwarded these to DOH and will circulate the responses as soon as they are received.

Eligible homes should be well aware of their eligibility from DOH and LeadingAge NY communications, but please contact me if you would like to verify your home's eligibility or estimated funding amount.
