DOH has released several payments and processed a second batch of appeals as the state fiscal year comes to a close.

Payment adjustments for capital and operating Medicaid appeals for rate years 2009 through 2021 to be made in last two payment cycles of March.

Nursing home providers have until March 18^th to review assessment data that will drive CMI calculations in January 2022 rates.

Of the 70 homes subject to the penalty, fewer than 3 percent are LeadingAge NY members.

DOH has processed supplemental payments, Quality Pool adjustments, as well as 2009-2021 capital appeals, most of which will be reflected in Medicaid payments released on Dec. 23^rd.

Although the process has been delayed due to programming issues, DOH intends to provide similar timeframes as in prior years for nursing homes to review their 2022 capital preview rates once they are available.

We ask those nursing homes who have not yet participated in our brief financial survey to do so.

Lump sum payments are making their way through the approval process, while 70/40 and staffing level regulations are headed for publication.
