DOH Reimbursement Update

ABSTRACT: NYAHSA provides members with latest DOH Medicaid update.

NYAHSA recently hosted its annual Financial Managers Conference in Lake Placid, NY.  Lana Earle, Director of the Bureau of Long-Term Care Reimbursement at the Department of Health (DOH), was one of our featured speakers.

• Important Update

There is one important update to the presentation.  NYAHSA has been advised by DOH that the nursing home Medicaid rates for the period 1/1/09 through 3/31/09 have been finalized and sent to eMedNY for processing.  NYAHSA expects the Dear Administrator Letter regarding these rates to be released sometime this week.
