DOH Nursing Home Rate Update

Attendees at NYAHSA’s Financial Manager’s Conference heard DOH staff provide a nursing home Medicaid rate update.  The presentation included a brief review of issued rates as well as updates anticipated in October.  DOH staff also discussed negotiated rate appeals, case mix changes, the global spending cap and the financially disadvantaged facility program.  Slides of the presentation are attached below for your reference, as is the Rate DAL issued in June 2011.
