Register for Upcoming Fire Safety, Life Safety, and Emergency Preparedness Webinar

On Wed., June 7th from 1 to 2:30 p.m. ET, Jensen Hughes will offer a webinar that will provide an in-depth look at fire safety best practices, trends in life safety survey citations, and effective emergency preparedness strategies to stay in compliance with Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) implementation requirements.

Twenty years after two catastrophic nursing home fires that led to the sprinkler requirement in nursing homes, life safety and emergency preparedness remain key regulatory compliance components that are consistently areas of survey focus for nursing home and assisted living providers. During this webinar, participants will:

  • Consider the critical fire and safety lessons learned in 2003 that are still applicable today;
  • Review the most cited survey K-tags in the last 12 months (sprinkler issues, fire alarm issues, corridor doors, and fire drills); and
  • Gain an understanding of the core elements of emergency preparedness programs and the importance of engaging with community partners and stakeholders.

The registration link for the webinar is available here.
