Free Respiratory Protection Programs for NYC Nursing Home and ACF Providers

NYC nursing home and adult care facility (ACF) members are encouraged to consider participating in the Expanding Respiratory Protection Programs (RPPs) for Long Term Care Facilities and other Congregate Settings in NYC being offered by the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (DOHMH) in partnership with vendor TRC Environmental Corporation. The program offers free mobile fit-testing services, procurement of free N95 respirators and other equipment, free consultations for RPP implementation and infection prevention/control activities, and – beginning Dec. 5, 2023 – free fit-testing train-the-trainer sessions. The program is expected to run until May 10, 2024.
