DOH Issues May 2023 Aware Prepare Update

The Department of Health (DOH) has issued the May 2023 issue of the Aware Prepare Update, a bimonthly newsletter highlighting upcoming trainings related to preparedness, readiness, and response. There are a variety of resources that may be of interest to members, including trainings on COVID-19 antiviral use among nursing home residents, the use of telehealth in combating the infectious disease clinician shortage, systems perspectives on health care worker burnout and wellbeing during the COVID-19 pandemic, and planning considerations for active shooter events in health care settings.
