DOH Issues High Heat Advisory Across New York State

On Sept. 5, 2023, the Department of Health (DOH) issued high heat guidance for facilities in response to high heat advisories posted by the National Weather Service across New York State through the middle of the week. Dangerous temperatures and humidity are in the forecast; DOH is advising facilities and providers to take all necessary precautions to keep patients and residents safe.
