Upcoming DOH/HANYS Webinar Opportunity: Medication Management Back to Basics for Nursing Homes

(March 10, 2025) The Department of Health (DOH) Division of Residential Surveillance, in collaboration with the Healthcare Association of NYS (HANYS), will present the next in a continuing series of nursing home back-to-basics presentations – a webinar related to medication management and preparedness for the recertification survey – on Wed., April 23, 2025 from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. ET.

By the conclusion of this presentation, participants will demonstrate the ability to:

understand the basics of medication management according to licensure in long term care settings.
review the most common medication documentation errors found during the survey process.
