Criminal History Record Check System Restored
(June 11, 2024) The technical problems plaguing the Department of Health's (DOH) Criminal History Record Check (CHRC) system have been resolved as of June 11, 2024. LeadingAge NY was informed that the CHRC system was experiencing technical problems beginning on May 31st. As a result of these issues, many providers were unable to log into the system. Providers are advised to maintain documentation of the dates of the outage and failed efforts to access it, given the delays it likely caused in viewing files and taking necessary actions.
