Criminal History Employment Determinations

ABSTRACT:  Providers must access employment letters on the HPN.

DOH has issued a Dear Administrator Letter (DRS 08-08) advising providers of the requirement that CHRC Employment Determination letters must be accessed immediately.  Some of these letters may contain information that prohibits the continued employment of an individual as a direct care employee.  Not accessing that information potentially places individuals at risk.  DOH is advising providers that failure to open these letters may result in the issuance of a statement of deficiencies.  The full Dear Administrator Letter is attached below.
