DOH will be hosting a new webinar on health equity impact assessments (HEIAs) required for certificate of need projects.

To assist in preparing for the forthcoming fall and winter virus season, DOH is encouraging long-term care providers to visit the CDC's Vaccines and Immunizations webpage.

In a letter to the Governor and the Health Commissioner, LeadingAge NY again requested elimination of the daily HERDS reporting required of nursing homes and ACFs since the beginning of the pandemic.

Topics of discussion included weather event surveillance, ACF licensure work group, top survey citations, ADHC ARPA funding, and the distribution of remaining nursing home staffing funds.

The DAL provides information about additional resources now available to nursing home staff working with residents interested in returning to community life and a proposed settlement in a class action litigation matter involving the NHTD Waiver Program.
