The tool provides a list of state law requirements imposed on nursing homes in 2021 and 2022, with links to associated regulations and summaries. It has been updated to include amendments enacted and regulations adopted between March 1^st and April 1, 2022.

The Governor extended the health care staffing emergency, but lifted the freeze on enforcement of nursing home staffing mandates. As a result, certain staffing flexibilities were continued, but nurse and aide minimum staffing levels took effect on April 1^st.
