Nursing home and applicant must provide and document notices to residents, staff, and union representatives within 30 days of application acknowledgment and within 24 hours of scheduling of PHHPC consideration.

Report must be electronically submitted to DOH by June 1^st.

The Public Health and Health Planning Council reviewed the progress of the State's Prevention Agenda and healthy aging initiatives on March 1^st and considered nursing home transfer of ownership applications under new character and competence regulations on March 2^nd. LeadingAge NY offered comments on the State's Medicaid waiver concept paper and its approach to healthy aging at the March 1^st meeting.

Providers can reopen their applications to rework and resubmit.

The three regulations arose out of legislation enacted in 2021. LeadingAge NY's comments highlighted flaws in the underlying assumptions of the statutes and regulations and issues requiring clarification, correction, or elaboration.

Next round of long-stay nursing home residents enrolled in Partially Capitated Medicaid MLTC will transfer to Medicaid FFS on Feb. 1^st.
