State Quality Strategy for Managed Care Organizations

The Department of Health (DOH) has posted a revised State Quality Strategy for managed care organizations. The revised draft is available by clicking here. 

The requirement to update the State Quality Strategy is a requirement under the Special Terms and Conditions (STCs) for New York's Federal-State Health Reform Partnership (FSHRP) and Partnership Plan section 1115(a) Demonstration Program.

LeadingAge NY is currently in the process of reviewing the draft and will be making comments to DOH. Comments should be submitted to DOH at qi@health.state.ny.us, and all comments are due by July 18, 2013.
