USDA Issues NOFA to Preserve and Renovate Existing Rural Rental Housing Projects
The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) has published a Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) for the Multi-Family Housing Preservation and Revitalization (MPR) Demonstration program, announcing that $20 million in budget authority is available to eligible borrowers/applicants to preserve and revitalize existing Rural Rental Housing (RRH) projects under Section 515, Section 514, and Section 516 of the Housing Act of 1949.
Applicants must submit pre-applications in response to the notice by 5 p.m. (EST) on Nov. 24. No additional Rental Assistance (RA) units will be made available under this program.
