Register for LeadingAge National Section 504 Follow-Up Call: HUD’s Advance Proposal to Update Disability Access in Affordable Housing
LeadingAge National’s U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Oversight and Compliance Workgroup will meet on Wed., July 12th at 1 p.m. ET to continue discussions on HUD’s intended Section 504 rule changes. Section 504 governs disability protections and accessibility access in HUD-assisted housing. In late April, HUD announced a forthcoming update and alignment of the disability rules with other, similar rules. LeadingAge National hosted an initial member feedback discussion on June 22nd to inform its comments for HUD and will continue the conversation on its next call.
