HUD Publishes NTIA Broadband Funding Guide for Affordable Housing

The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) has published a new resource for federally assisted communities, public housing authorities, and other stakeholders to consider when deploying internet service in affordable housing. The guide is intended to help affordable housing owners and operators understand the intent and planned distribution of more than $45 billion in funding available to states through the National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) to install internet infrastructure.
