HOTMA Interim Compliance Date: Fri., May 31st
(May 28, 2024) For Multifamily Housing providers assisted by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), the full compliance date for implementation of the Housing Opportunity Through Modernization Act (HOTMA) remains Jan. 1, 2025. However, housing providers need to update their Tenant Selection Plan (TSP) and Enterprise Income Verification (EIV) policies by May 31st and make those publicly available.
