HUD has issued a Final Notice Physical Condition Scoring notice and Revised Dictionary of Deficiency Definitions for HUD Real Estate Assessment Center (REAC) inspections.

The GOA stated that HUD’s use of a Notice of Funding Available (NOFA) for the administration of the Housing Assistance Payment (HAP) contracts is improper.

HUD issued a notice that the FY2013 income limits published on December 4, 2012 were replaced with revised income limits on December 11, 2012. 

HUD awards $26 million in grants to convert some or all HUD Section 202 apartments into assisted living or service-enriched environments for elderly residents.

The major revision was the addition of a point loss cap, which limits the amount by which a single deficiency in an inspectable area could reduce the overall property score.

HUD launched a new REAC online training program for multifamily owners/agents which includes a certification of completion .
