HUD is scheduling remaining Section 8 HAP contract subsidies for payment this week.

The agency pushed back the deadline for grantees to submit their grant renewal packages to HUD from June 20^th to June 27^th, allowing two full weeks from the release of official guidance to respond.

Hearings on June 10^th and 11^th in the House and Senate on HUD’s FY26 budget request to Congress surfaced both considerable disillusionment with HUD’s paltry request as well as camaraderie, among some members of Congress, with LeadingAge’s priorities.
