DOH Reminds Home Care Providers of Transportation Assistance Levels

(Sept. 30, 2025) The Department of Health (DOH) issued a Dear Administrator Letter (DAL) last week reminding home care and hospice providers of Transportation Assistance Level (TAL) revisions established back in 2017. The DAL re-enforced that the revised TALs should be included in an agency's written emergency plan, and that patient classification levels and ambulatory categories including sub-categories should be included on the patient roster.
