Join Us in DC for LeadingAge National Leadership Summit and Lobby Day!
(Updated April 7, 2026) LeadingAge NY members are strongly encouraged to join us in Washington, DC from April 20th-22nd for LeadingAge National’s 2026 Leadership Summit and Lobby Day!
The summit convenes thought leaders from across the aging services sector for mission-critical conversations. It provides valuable networking and educational opportunities, but most importantly, the final day (April 22nd) will offer attendees the chance to join a coordinated lobbying effort on Capitol Hill.
During Lobby Day, LeadingAge members will meet face-to-face with members of Congress to advocate for federal funding and policies that support long-term care and aging services for older adults. Members of LeadingAge NY’s policy staff will be attending the summit and Lobby Day, joining NY member advocates in their congressional meetings and helping them navigate their way around Capitol Hill. In addition, on April 6th, LeadingAge National hosted a special Policy Pulse call focused on the 2026 outlook for federal aging services policy and their assessment of how aging services providers will fare under President Donald Trump’s fiscal year 2027 budget request to Congress. On the call, National policy staff discussed the association’s priorities for Lobby Day. A recording of the call and materials shared are available on the National Policy Pulse webpage.
