New Workforce Resource from LeadingAge National Now Available
LeadingAge National, with several state partners and LeadingAge NY staff, has launched a free resource for members to assist with recruitment and retention efforts.
The resource, Embracing Flexible Scheduling Models for Staff, is available on the LeadingAge Learning Hub and provides members with alternative staff scheduling solutions to consider as they continue to navigate the workforce crisis.
The resource provides three types of staffing models and implementation strategies to get started. Along with sample policies for each type of staffing alternative, the resource provides tips for implementation and other resources and research to support how alternative staffing models can reduce turnover, increase applicant referrals, reduce overtime, and improve overall staff satisfaction.
