Free OSHA Webinar on Electronic Submission of Illness/Injury Data
The U.S. Department of Labor’s Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) is hosting a free webinar on electronically submitting workplace injury and illness data, under a new regulation requiring certain establishments with 100 or more employees to electronically submit information from their OSHA Forms 300 and 301 annually. The webinar will be held on Feb. 7th at 1 p.m., and registration is available here.
The deadline to submit information under the new regulation for calendar year 2023 is March 2, 2024. Information must be submitted electronically through the OSHA Injury Tracking Application.
Summaries of the new requirements from LeadingAge National and LeadingAge NY, with links to OSHA webpages, are here and here. Online aids, including videos, are available from OSHA to help employers navigate the data submission process.
