2025 Home Health Care Employer Demand Survey

(Oct. 14, 2025) The Center for Health Workforce Studies (CHWS), along with NY's home care associations and the Association on Aging, has developed and posted the 2025 Home Health Care Employer Demand Survey. The workforce survey seeks workforce data and information from Certified Home Health Agencies (CHHAs), Licensed Home Care Services Agencies (LHCSAs), hospices, county health departments, and other agencies that are providing home health care services.

The survey will help understand various agency data including turnover and vacancy rates. By participating, responders grant CHWS the right to collect and store their information. CHWS will administer the survey and share the information publicly only in aggregated form. Please do not provide any non-public personal information or protected health information when completing the survey. The survey will be used by CHWS to collect information on potential recruitment and retention difficulties within home care agencies.
