Next Minimum Wage Increase Phase-In Effective Dec. 31st

The Department of Labor (DOL) has announced the next phase-in of the minimum wage increase effective Dec. 31, 2020. The minimum wage will rise to $14 per hour on Long Island and in Westchester County and to $12.50 in the rest of the state by year-end. New York City (NYC) met the $15 per hour minimum wage requirement for companies with 10 or fewer employees in NYC last year.
