Joined by approximately 80 of its nursing home members, LeadingAge NY has filed a petition seeking a preliminary and permanent injunction to prevent the enforcement of the minimum nursing hours requirements and minimum direct care spending requirements.

The waiver would invest $13.5 billion over five years in the health care system to address health disparities and health care delivery issues. Virtual public hearings will be held on April 28th and May 3rd. Written comments are due by May 13th.
