DataPoint: Medicaid in the States

In New York State, Medicaid covers one in five adults, two in five children, two in three nursing home residents, and one in two people with disabilities. This and other key New York State Medicaid figures, as well as the implications of reduced federal Medicaid funding, are provided by the Kaiser Family Foundation. The organization provides Medicaid State Fact Sheets showing the impact of Medicaid on each of the 50 states, with the New York data available here.
