DataPoint: Comprehensive Long Term Care Provider Statistics

The National Center for Health Statistics (NCHS) has released a detailed group of state rankings and figures. Long term care providers have access to maps, forms, and tables to help evaluate rate and usage statistics. NCHS' national report provides state-level estimates and includes information on organizational characteristics, staffing, and services paid by long term care providers. The NCHS report on the usage rate of nursing home residents in 2014 indicates that New York State is slightly higher than the national average for both the 65+ and 85+ population.
